Dates to remember for December…..

December 4th- Parent Club Meeting in O’Ryan Hall

Decmeber 5th- Mass (a pre-k student will announce his wish to be baptized in January 2013. Parents are encourage to take their pre-k son or daughter to church and see him at this special moment.  Pre-k is open as normal and teachers will be there to greet your child when you leave church or if you can not make it to church.)

December 5th- Norman’s Uniform Sale at School from 2:30 – 4:30pm

Decmeber 7th- Wear regular school uniform to school (save the spirit shirt for next week)

December 7th- Field trip to watch Mickey’s Christmas Carol and The Little Drummer Boy, 9-11:30am

December 7th- Good Shepherd Book Fair at Barnes and Noble at the Grove from 1-6pm.  Please wear uniform and be prepared to tell people about our school. All students who wear the school uniform will have free dress on Monday. Dec. 10.

December 8th- “Celebrate Advent in the Home” at Good Shepherd Parish Hall from 11:00 – 1:30pm (this is a free event and lunch will be provided). All students who attend will have free dress on Monday, Dec. 10.

December 11th and 12th- Santa Shop  (Students have the opportunity to purchase gifts to you and the family. $20 is usually more than enough to spend.)

December 13th- Field trip to Mary & Joseph Retreat Center for “Silent Night, Holy Night” 8am-2pm.  The pre-k class is joining the rest of the school on the school bus taking us there.  Parents will have to drive if they wish to join.

December 20th-  Last day of School for Christmas Break. Early Dismissal at 12:30 and Christmas Program at Good Shepherd Church at 6pm. There will be no aftercare on this day.  Sorry for the inconvenience, but the teacher and staff will have their Christmas luncheon on this day.

January 7th- Welcome back!

American Saint’s Presentation

Tomorrow morning Pre-k is presenting Elizabeth Ann Seton in an activity starting at 8:15am.  Remember to come early!

Look at what Good Shepherd School collected!

Pre-k was in charge of the Hygiene Drive in October.  They counted and sorted the items that was collected before they were picked up by the Westside Food Bank.

A big thank you from the students and teachers in pre-k to our wonderful room parents for making Halloween such a wonderful day!  There was arts and craft, pizza and a Halloween treat on a stick!
