Halloween Candy

Our 1st graders are collecting left over Halloween candy and are preparing to send it to the troops.  Bring what you don’t want to keep at home to school until Friday, November 2nd. Thank you!

October 31, 2012 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Please, have your children at school by 8am.  Parents are welcome to stay and watch the Halloween Parade with the rest of the school, which should be done by 8:45am.   

The students will have fun with Halloween projects in class and a pizza party for lunch before your pick them up.

 

Dismissal is at 12:30, but aftercare is available until 6pm.

Sunday, November 4th- PICNIC

The school picnic has been re-scheduled for Sunday, November 4th.  From 12:00pm to 4:00pm school families, parents and children, will eat and play together at Rancho Park.  WELCOME!

 

Information

On October 24th, we are going on a field trip to Shawn’s Pumpkin Patch in Culver City.  Permission slips are at school.  

On the October 26th, at 1pm we are going to Sunrise Retirement home to Trick or Treat.  This is an event where parents bring their children and stay with them.  Dress in Halloween costume! Siblings are welcome! It will take about an hour.  The residents at the retirement home love to see the young kids. 

October 31, HALLOWEEN!  Be at school at 8am dressed in costume.  This morning we are joining the school’s morning assembly and Halloween parade that follows.  Students can wear the Halloween costume all day.  Our room parents are planning a fun day for us in pre-k, more information will follow.  Dismissal is at 12:30. Aftercare is available regular hours. 

 

Picture Re-take is rescheduled

Dear Parents,

About a month ago we Lifetouch was here and took both, group and individual pictures, of the students.  Retakes were scheduled for tomorrow, but we still don’t have the pictures.  Therefore, the re-take has been moved to Wednesday, November 14. Hopefully you will get the pictures soon.
