The week beginning Monday, October 24

During the week we will continue making Halloween projects. Practice cutting skills, talk about letter F, sing songs, do music and movements, listen to stories and increase our Spanish vocabulary is only a few of our activities.

On Thursday, October 27, we are starting the new Gateway to Art program. It starts 8am! Please be on time! We are excited to work with our friends in kindergarten and parents on this day. Read more about the great program here: http://www.gatewaytoart.org/index.html

On Friday, October 28, we are visiting the Sunrise Retirement home. Let us know if you can join at 1pm. The address is:

201 North Crescent Drive
Beverly Hills, CA 90210

Please help your child learn the following song. They will sing it next Monday as a part of the All Saint’s Day parade. If you have any questions about the parade, please let us know. 🙂 Remember you are invited to see the children walk through the gates of heaven 11:30am. Parking will be difficult on this day. Arrive early.

Oh, when the saints go marching in
Oh, when the saints go marching in
Lord how I want to be in that number
When the saints go marching in

And when the sun begins to shine
And when the sun begins to shine
Lord, how I want to be in that number
When the sun begins to shine

Oh, when the trumpet sounds its call
Oh, when the trumpet sounds its call
Lord, how I want to be in that number
When the trumpet sounds its call
