TUESDAY, JANUARY 27, 2009Catholic Schools Celebrate Service for our Students

Students will have NO HOMEWORK

Students will have ” Free dress ”

“Buddy Classes” will play together and have a treat

 

Welcome to Open House on January 5:30-7:00pm. Bring friends and family members along!

Baptismal Picture

In Sunday’s Gospel, We talk about Jesus’ baptsim. The elements of this story present Jesus’ Realationship with the father and the spirit.

The children will understand the church welcomes them into God’s family through baptsim.The children will use the symbol of water candel and white garment as the are used in the Baptsmal right.The children will practice the Sign of the cross as a reminder of their baptism. ( As an extension, you could practice this at home as well)

I would really like it if the children would be able to share a photo from their baptsim with the class. I will also be displaying them on our religion board. Please try to have your pictures in no later then thursday. Thank You!

January 2009 NEWS!

Please read about the changes in pre-k beginning January 5th, 2009\

After Christmas break:  Ms. Bramon will no longer be in Pre-K on a daily basis. She will be assisting in the second grade classroom and may come into Pre-K  when one of us is absent. 

 

Monday, January 5, 2009,  we are welcoming Mrs. Jean Meyers to our Pre-K program. She is going to work fulltime as a teacher’s assistant.

 

After School Care:  Mrs. Meyer will also assist me with after school care supervision for the Pre-K students. From now on these students will be in the Pre-K building, apart from the rest of the school, during after school care hours. The fee and hours of operation for after school care have not changed, but we ask you to let us know if you are planning to use it and what time you will be picking up your child. Thank you for your cooperation.
