Registration for Next School Year

It is time to register for next year!  A finiancial agreement form was put in your boxes a few weeks ago.  The reregistration fee for pre-k is $450 and the registration for kindergarten is $500.  This fee is due by March 5 and will hold the spot for your child.  Without this fee we can not guarantee your child will have spot. Dr. Seuss’ Birthday, March 2

 

We will celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday on Tuesday, March 2.  On Tuesday our fourth grade buddies will share their favorite Dr. Seuss’ story with the preschoolers as a part of a reading project by .

We will read books and do fun activitites in connection to the Dr. Seuss’ books all week. Please share any Dr. Seuss’ books you have at home with us. We will take good care of them and keep them in a special place, but don’t bring the most special copy. Thanks!

As a part of the Read Across America event parents are invited to read stories to the students all week. It can be a book we have in our classroom or a special story you like. Please let me know if you are intersted in reading to your child and his/her friends. The best time for us is at 2:30 pm and/or 10:45am, but we are also flexible and if another time is better for you we may be able to work around it!

Tuesday, March 2

On Tuesday, March 2, we will sing again for all the parents in the parent meeting. Please bring your child to school early… by 8:15am. The children are very excited. We will sing one, maybe two songs.

This Week in Preschool, Feb. 21-26

This week we are talking about our five sense.

We are singing a song to the tune of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star:

Senses, senses I have five. I see the rainbow with my eyes. I touch a cat and hear it meow, I smell hot soup and taste it too. I have sense so do you, tell me what your senses do.

 

On Thursday our neighborhood denstist will visit and talk to all students about dental care.

Valentine’s Day!

 

Thank you for helping the children prepare their cards for today’s Valentine’s Day celebration!  They had lots of fun passing the cards out. The party was great! Thanks for all the treats!
